Chief Launches Redesigned Website
Posted on Monday, September 12, 2011

New site includes a simplified design, new user-friendly features, and easier access to products and information.

Hong Kong (SEP 2011) - - Chief, an industry leader in professional AV solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website. The new site features a simplified interface, clean navigation, and the addition of several new features that make products easier to find and select.

Following are some of the changes you’ll see:

Universal navigation: Universal products menu is all-encompassing of Chief’s array of products, including a complete line of AV Rack Systems, Interactive Short Throw Projector Mounts, and AV Room Systems to showcase the newest in the lineup. Users will find MountFinder front and center, and icons located at the bottom of the home page link to the many online tools users need most, including MountBuilder™, RackBuilder™ and the company’s online interactive FastFlip catalog.

Product comparison: Users can now select up to three products and compare features side-by-side for easier differentiation and selection.

New filtering options: Users can narrow their search by filtering certifications, such as UL and OSPHD, as well as color and type of mount.

Ability to save products: Returning registered users can save products for later consideration, whether for bid requests or just so they have their favorite products all in one place.

Mobile compatibility: Users can now watch all Chief installation videos on any mobile phone including iPhone®, Adroid® phone or iPad®.

Reverse MountFinder option: In addition to Chief’s MountFinder Pro cross-reference, at the mount SKU level, users can now select a display or projector brand and the tool will display all compatible manufacturers models that work with the mount.

Recently viewed products: The site will now display products that users recently searched or selected, as a helpful reminder.
