This snake rack holds a 18 space rack mountable snake box. It also has a compartment on the "utility" side to house the snake. The snake ends can be left plugged into the snake box and be pulled out for the length of the run. Benefits of the Grundorf flight cases include the pass-through between the rack and utility sections so the feeder cable can remain hooked up. For added protection, there is a cable port in the rear so the top lid can be attached during use. Grundorf Tour 8™ Snake Racks are built for touring. Each case is constructed with 3/8" multi-layer plywood with a durable ABS laminate finish. The edges are finished with double edged aluminum extrusion. The lid-to-body seal is made with an interlocking aluminum tongue and groove valance system to provide a tight seal. We use 12 rivet point recessed handles and 10 rivet point recessed catches to provide the strength needed for years of wear-and-tear. The handles and catches all use a steel washer backed rivet system for greater durability.
