Guilford of Maine fabrics are acoustically sound transparent. The composition of the fabric will not interfere with soundwaves and allows them to pass through the material uninhibited. Therefore, the acoustical material that is under the fabric facing, be it fiberglass, foam, ect., is able to work to it's fullest potential.
